WE MUST

The world rages outside,

For a silent killer has entered our doors.

Heads thunder with the roars for justice,

Yet through it all, we sit alone.

It is normal, they say, expected,

For the world to be in flames.

Khaos, extinction, nothing to fear,

Though they are the ones to blame.

We shout colours, we shout pride,

For the voices stolen from crushed throats.

Calling on equality. freedom, and justice,

No belief in rights? Go float.

How long, decades, centuries, a millennium,

Will Adam’s progeny be a blight?

The ways of others will not change,

But for our future, we must make it right.
